No Love.

I have been so consumed with working, and planning that I have to make time to sleep.  My visions are so vivid, so real that at the point that I am at in my life no one or nothing can keep me from what I strongly believe in.

SendTaLacey2Paris, is real. I have been talking about what I have seen in my dreams for so long I have stopped talking and just know that I am working. I said I would be internationally known by 25; by I have come to realize that I am on God’s time. I am working; I am beyond just focusing on the small things. It doesn’t matter what religion you are, what color you are, or where you come from those are all things that are a figment of your imagination. They are used against you to stop you from being whatever it is that you desire to be.

If there is something that you desire to be, or want you can have it. The quote if you can imagine it, you can have it is so true but what they just didn’t tell you (or you didn’t realize) was that it takes work. I love my circle and the few people that are in it. I still have friends that are doing great things; some of them are miles away. But just know that they have inspired me to work harder. You know that you are working hard when you have to make time to go to sleep. I don’t care if I have to drive 5 hours to attend school, I will do it. My focus is just that serious, If you call me and I don’t answer or text back it’s not that I don’t want to talk but my time is money, and my money is time and if you aren’t talking about advancing, or pouring into my life then there is not any reason for us to talk. I will write on my blog, I know that my posts have been far and few in between but you better know I will update. I have to stay focused, it’s something when you have lived this life and you have not did anything with yourself. Death comes at any age now, people are dying left and right. What type of impact will your life leave?

When I die, I want my life to speak volumes.  If they don’t say two words at my funeral before I leave this earth, the world will know that I was here.  #betterknowit

What some people, especially my generation and those behind me is that we have the same amount of time as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, TD Jakes, Oprah and Jezzy. Time does not wait for any man; the question I pose to you is what will you do with your hours? How will you spend your time?

Making a million updates on FB, posting you posing with guns, posting pictures of money that is really not yours? Will you continue to work limitlessly for someone else’s dreams? Or will you work for your own. When will you realize that you control your destiny God can open doors for you all day long but, will you walk through it?

He can lay 100$ on the curb but will you bend your back and pick it up?

A lot of the things we face are in the mind, a lot of people are bound in the mind. Keep that slave mentally over there.

Working. But not forgotten.

The past few days, weeks and months have been spent working. I believe in working to obtain what you want out of life. Certainly no one will just give you all of your hearts desires, you have to work for them. This journey that I am on (#sendtalacey2paris) has been great for me it has caused me to budget beyond what I typically do and look for ways that will allow me to contribute greater to what I desire to do and that is attend school in Europe. I have not been able to post as I would like not because I don’t want to but because I have been so busy I have had very little time to even post. I recently had to force myself to take a break. But it is very hard when you have a vision in mind. If you are like me you just won’t stop until you have reached the top. Well soon I will be able to post more. Dreams. Visions. Reality

I have been so busy for the past few weeks. But what I have come to realize is that nothing comes easy without hard work.  I don’t care if you are a sinner or saint, working is a way of life. You can’t get anything without working your education takes work, obtaining a car, buying a house it all takes work. You cannot get anywhere without it.

Anybody can have a dream but it takes a plan to make it a vision, and hard work to make it a reality.

I hear maybe you should not work so hard, but in the back of my mind I am thinking if I don’t work then how will this thought in my mind ever become a reality? My education, my career it all takes hard work sweat blood and tears to but this all together. My vision, reality is not impossible. You have a lot of people that just pray for things to happen, but you cannot just pray along it takes action in order to make it work.

God cannot bless you if you sit and wait on him to release what it is you’re expecting. There have been a plenty of days that have gone by that I have lost sleep, gone without eating (not on purpose though Im already to skinny for that ), or I have forgotten to take a break at work.  Because I am so focused on what I am trying to do. My visions are real, you will see.

No, today is not siblings day, today is just a special day because I wanted to celebrate my sisters.  I am so very proud of them, as I know they are the same of me. Some of you have children, attend school, work (some of you two jobs) and you still manage to be beautiful, great awesome women.

I am so blessed because not only do I have my blood sister (Ray) but I have come across some beautiful awesome women who manage to inspire and encourage me.  Not only through the words that you speak but through the things that you do. I wrote this note just to let you know I love ya’ll. Keeping doing what you are doing.

I love all of you guys, I cannot name all of you one by one or post pictures of all of you. but I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you!

The harder and harder I work the more I see my vision of my career and life coming to past. Anything worth having in life, takes hard work, and one thing that I have come to understand is that everyone may not believe in your vision and goals, but what is most important is that you have faith and keep the hope in your own dreams and goals.

Today, has been my first day off since the 3rd week of June. I am not complaining but it is always great to take a day of rest to reflect on the direction you are heading in. Well if you didn’t know I recently accepted the position as Assistant Store Manager at Cato Fashions. It has been a great opportunity; I call it a blessing dressing in overalls. I have been able to learn some great things, one thing that I have also come to understand is that it is not always the monetary things that you can receive out of a situation. Opportunity can come in many forms. It takes me back to the quote :

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Thomas A. Edison

And that quote is so true. Most people think that if it is not money then it is not a blessing. Your blessing, your opportunity could be receiving information, it could be as simple as you becoming friends with a person who is able to bless your life whether it be through encouraging words so do not, I repeat don’t put your opportunity, your blessing in a box. It is most definitely bigger than that.
So, yesterday after working so hard, I came to my first job and look at what they had on the counter! With all this working I am very glad that for the next month we have a health challenge going on because it allows me to really focus on my health as well. There are times that I don’t eat breakfast, or I may only eat once that day. Certainly not because I am trying to watch my figure but because I stay so busy and a lot of times I never even really think about eating. But I found a few other blogs, that have the recipes but I must say the water is very refreshing, and it taste good. The only one I did not like were the orange water, Ooooh! It was awful but hey you may like it.

Anyway, I have been training in Monroeville, AL all this week for my new position. And I have learned so much, from Merchandising and Administrative work when it comes to processing inventory. I am so excited of where I am going. It is so important to learn your craft, study it be the best. Learn the rules so you can break them! You cannot break rules you don’t understand or even know. I have been at it nonstop; this second job is really giving me life. I have gained some valuable information while working. I have begun to look at things not as if I am making money but I am obtaining information that money cannot buy.

Of Course me! I am suppose to be hanging up the rest of the signs. But I took time out to take some selfies!!

I have learned so much but what is most important is that I am able to use all the information that I have obtained over the past several years. This job is so much fun, I am excited about working and all the information that I will be learning in the future. I know that working here will really help me in my future of being a fashion designer. Monday I was able to hang signs for advertisements in the front of the store and today I learned about dressing mannequins so stay tuned, I’ll make more time so that I can post more.

Work.

Hey Everybody!
Boy I tell you have I been beyond busy. I actually picked up a second job to help with the planning of my trip to Paris; it is a blessing to be able to work. Especially when it is something that you love doing, so I guess it is safe to say I am technically not at work.
Ever had that feeling that something that you have desired for so long is about to happen? I have, I have walked around with that feeling for the longest. But something just seems so great about 2014 and the year coming up 2015. It’s practically July already half of the year has already gone by and I tell you I have been working very hard. I have already created my list of things to do once I get there, b esides working on my school work.
Sometimes you have to do what others won’t to be able to live like others cannot. So stay tuned and stay connected with my blog great things are to come and they will unfold right before your eyes.

Do The Possible

The past few weeks have been very challenging. I have wanted to write and post on my blog but my schedule has been filled and maxed out!  But that is all okay, because these situations are what build you up to handle your blessings.

                                                         

In order to get where you are going you must prepare yourself and your mind for what you have been asking for! Get prepared for your blessing,  Whether it be to educate yourself first, ask questions become informed. Would you like to purchase a new home?  then start cleaning up your credit pay off bills. Want to lose weight? Eat better exercise see about your health and do what it takes. Start off by making better choices and educating yourself. My grandfather use to say, “You do the possible, and let God handle the impossible”.

Mine For The Day

 

I had the best birthday ever. But one thing that still does not cease to amaze me is the mindset of our community. On my birthday yesterday I was graced to meet a friend who had recently purchased a Bentley, he offered me the opportunity to have his Bentley for my birthday. I said instead I would rather just capture the moment.

A moment that is mine forever and that will push me to obtain my own. But what was more appalling to me was that I received more feedback off of that one picture, than any other post I have made. When I post about my education or my need for information on how to obtain a masters overseas, I can’t even receive a “Like”. But when I post me standing in front of a $200,000 dollar vehicle I receive more negative/and positive energy like no other.

What state of mind are we in? Where are we going as a community? We would rather worship luxury, wealth, and glory than to obtain a decent education.  It even vexed me so that I received inbox messages stating, and I quote “I knew you had money, why would I send you to Paris?”, or “Why would I donate to you, you just bought a Bentley?”

As, far as I am concerned you never had intentions on giving to me anyway saying things like that.

My goals, and dreams are my own, I do not expect you or any one just to give me your hard earned money.  I set up this site and blog so that you and everybody else can see what my plans are and how hard I am working toward to obtain the things that I desire.

My purpose is to help people, those who really know me. Know that as bad as I want to live overseas, and obtain my Master’s degree that I would not go out and buy a $200,000 car. That is just stupid, but believe me when you do see me in it. Know that I will have land scattered across the country my family will be well taken care of and just know I have all of my T’s crossed and my I’s dotted.
